Organix Moroccan Argan Oil

In my previous post on the Kerastase Nectar Thermique, I mention that it was one of my two favourite leave-in hair product.

I want to give this other hair product some credit too, so here am I with another post regarding hair products.

This product deserve to be on mention on my blog more than any other hair product I've used so far because, I think, other than my shampoo and conditioner, this the the first product that I've finished using.

I don't usually finish using a hair product, that is neither shampoo nor conditioner, because my hair gets use to a hair product when it is about halfway through!(annoys me like crazy!) I will try to use up as much as I can until it has totally no effect on my hair.

As Usual, the back of the product.

Before I forget,

Product Description.
This rare, ultra light weight formula is nature's secret to silky perfection! Derived from the southwest region of Morocco, argan oil instantly penetrates the hair shaft to seal in shine and protect from styling heat and UV damage. Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Penetrating Oil fights Frizz, strengthens and moisturizes dry brittle hair to give you smooth sexy tresses.

I know the Moroccanoil treatment works very well on many people and the was a huge hype all over YouTube, I'm guessing, a few months back. I wanted to get that really badly, but because it is in a glass packaging, I was very skeptical about shipping it all the way from USA. Furthermore, it isn't a cheap product either!

I was shopping one day and saw this Organix version and thought I should give it a try! And it had been my go-to product ever since.

It has this nozzle where you squeeze the product you want out.
Because I don't have anymore product left and this is the empty bottle that I've finished using, I don't have a picture on how it looks like. I can only describe it to you.

It is a thick oil consistency. I wouldn't say it is oily, because it has a thick consistency. I would say it feels like the middle ground between watery gel and oil.
For colour wise, it is transparent with a hint of yellow in it.

I've always face dry and tangled hair whenever I have long hair. It annoys me so badly to the extend that I cut it really short once..

And had it short for quite some time before I decide to grow it out again.
PS. Please only look at the hair and pardon that face!

what I like about this product, It keeps my hair moisturized and tangle free. After consistent use, the ends of my hair don't look dried and fried, it actually looks healthy and shiny! Which is what all girls want to achieve when they have long hair!
I also like that it doesn't have a strong scent to it. Some products have really strong scent that it will make me feel nausea after a while.
Other than that, it feels very light weight although the product that comes out seem very thick.
Although it is light weight, it moisturize and softens your hair amazingly well! Because it works so well with dry brittle hair, it also help to reduce frizz, I do realise that my hair is way less frizzy and smoother, silkier looking!

What I don't like about this product, is that it breaks me out on my jawline and neck when the product comes in contact with my body before my hair dries, It breaks out so badly my mum thought that I had acne problem at that area.

I manage to slightly prevent the breakout which is to use a towel and separate my hair and skin until the hair dries, but if I'm in a rush to leave home, I have to blow dry my hair, if not I will break out at the same area again!

The reason why I didn't repurchase this product, and am left with an empty bottle is, because my hair got use to the product on the last few uses and I didn't want to waste my money knowing the results won't be as good as before and I might not even finish using the new bottle, so I thought of trying something else out and maybe go back to this product again much later in the future.

I would recommend this product to anyone out there who wants to try or who is struggling with tangled and dry hair. This is indeed a life changing product for me. But do keep in mind that this product might break you out in contact with your face/skin!

This retails at SGD $15.90-$16.90 at our local Watsons Store

Have you tried this? which do you prefer? the moroccanoil treatment or the organix morocca oil?

xx, meiyi
