EOS Lip Balm Summer Fruit

Hi everyone,

I'm starting to get a little busy now, I guess it's the end of "honeymoon" period of school and now it's time to get studying hard!~

I had the intention of skipping today's post because I have to wake up like at 6am(latest) tomorrow for a morning lesson and my brain is really not functioning well right now.
But I thought, since I already have the product right in front of me, I might as well just do this.

Today's product is something that has been very popular all over the internet.

In Singapore, we don't have a store that carries this product, but we can easily get it online.

And the product is...

For those who didn't know, EOS stands for Evolution of Smooth.
Nothing too related to the topic.I just thought this was interesting!~LOL!~

My Thoughts,
From my experience

I saw the hype about this lip balm and read about it. It uses products that are pretty natural and I really wanted to try.

Knowing that I couldn't get it from stores, eg.Guardian/Watsons, in Singapore, I did some research to see where to get it.

Yes I know, this sounds ridiculous, but that's what I did.

I finally found this product and purchased it for SGD$10.
Which is a pretty pricey product.

For starters, I really like how the product looks, it is round, like an egg. Which is something not commonly seen around.
But I thought this might be a little too inconvenient for a person to pop it into their pockets.
I'm not being disgusting or anything, but we do lick our lips every now and then. I realise that there is this sweet taste to it. Anyone tasted the same?

What I like about this product, surprisingly is the scent of it. I've read many reviews saying how much they hated the scent, but I really like it. It doesn't smell anything near chemical to me. It actually smells like fruit.

What I don't like about this product, It doesn't leave your lips feeling smooth, moist or soft at all.
In fact, I felt that this was drying my lips out.
Yes there is a layer of product that will be left on your lips for a period of time, but instead of moisturizing it, it is drying the lips out.

My lips starts feeling dry about 20mins after I applied the lip balm on. If I ignore it, it'll only become drier, so I have to keep reapplying this lip balm every 20mins.
I don't have any experience of me reapplying every 20mins with other lip balms and this is so often my friends even noticed it.

After using this, I have no idea why people are raving about this.

As you can see from the picture above, I did use up quite a lot of product.
1. Because I crazily searched and brought this product, I really wanted to like it.
2. I want to know why people are loving this product so much.

I guess this is just not suitable for me.

Would I recommend it? No, I will not. For the price I got this, I feel that you can actually get a cheaper and more moisturizing lip balm like nivea/lip ice at a much cheaper price.
I just feel that it didn't live up to it's hype.

I don't really like writing a negative post, it makes me feel really bad.
I hope I didn't offended anyone who really likes EOS lipbalms!~
