Fruit of the Earth - 100% Aloe Vera Gel

Hi Everyone!~

In the evening, while arranging the refrigerator to store some grocery, I saw this product lying in the refrigerator.. And I thought!~ Hey I should do a post on this!

I've mentioned in some of my previous posts that I use to have bad breakouts a few years back.

Other than finding the right skincare products for my skin, I also tried out products that will reduce breakouts and heal them!~

I've tried many different types of products to deal with controlling breakout, healing & soothing irritated skin, but this have to be my favorite so far!~

PS. for those who don't know, in Singapore, there is a very limited choices to choose from, for I would say anything if you want to get it in stores.

I got this brand isn't because I hear good reviews on this, but it's because it was cheaper than the other one they had there.LOL!~

It states to be for sunburn, dry, Irritated Skin.

I thought, "hey!~ I need something to soothe my skin. This shall do the trick"

In case you can't really see,

Product Description,
Cooling Soothing gel from nature's miracle plant of the ages. Made from fresh Aloe Vera leaves. Forms a protective barrier which helps retain moisture and promotes healing. Non-oily Moisturizer provides effective relief from Sunburn, Minor Burns, Skin Irritations, Insect bites, Chafing, Itching, Dry Skin.

Directions,
Apply generously to sunburned or irritated skin as needed.

This is how the cap looks like.

It comes in a tube container, so you just squeeze the product out of the tube.

It comes out like a clear gel,

When you spread it out, it forms a layer of shiny surface.

The layer of shine will be there until the you wash the product out.

My Thoughts,
From my experience

My sisters have really bad acne problems when they reach their puberty age.
My mum will always be on a look out of good acne products for them.

Once, I don't know where my mum got her information from, she brought some aloe vera leaves and started slicing them up and ask my sisters to apply them on their faces.

So when I had really bad breakouts for quite some time, I decided to give it a try too.

What I use this product for?

- To soothe redness on my skin
- To soothe irritated skin
-To heal acne/pimples
- To add extra moisture onto the skin
- To soothe minor burns from curling irons and while cooking
- To tame the frizz at the ends of my hair.

How I use?
For my face or burnt areas, I'll apply a liberal amount to cover the entire surface.
For my hair, I'll take a little more than a pea size, rub in between my fingers and applying it onto my hair, just like how you would with a hair gel/wax to tame the frizz

How I store this product?

I store it in a mini refrigerator

about this big in the kitchen

Together with all the bottle drinks and chocolates.

I feel that when the aloe vera gel is chilled, it soothes sunburns and irritated skin much better.

What I like about this product, it is so multipurpose!~
I can use it on my face, body and even hair!~

When I use to have breakouts, I'll apply a layer of chilled Aloe Vera gel on to my entire face before I go to bed.
After using it for a while, I noticed that my skin is moisturized, the redness is not as bad, and the acne/pimples have reduced.

I don't usually have sunburns, but I do always get burnt by hot pots and heated curling irons/straighteners.
I use to not know what to do about it and would just leave it there. It would be so painful I'll take a ice cube to lay above the burn to ease it.
I started using Chilled Aloe Vera gel one day and it worked well!~
Not only did it reduced the pain with the cooling sensation, it also helps to heal the burn.
Usually it'll take up to a few days for my hands to feel that the burn has recovered, but after applying the Aloe Vera gel, I feel alright the next day!~

I also like to apply it onto the ends of my hair where it, sometimes, tends to get a little frizzy.
Sometimes when I have bad hair day and my ends are frizzy, I'll take a little to tame the frizz.
That's my thought initially, because I read from somewhere that it can be replaced as a hair styling product.
And I realized, it actually also helps to moisturize the hair a little!~
Like killing 2 birds with one stone.
So ever since then, when I have knotty hair days, I'll take a little of this and apply it onto my hair!~

What I don't like about this product? Nothing!~ I'm actually quite satisfied with it!~

Would I recommend it? Yes Definitely!~ This is not only a skincare product, but also a medicine/treatment.
This product not only moisturize your skin, but also help with healing burns, irritation. It's more like a emergency product to have around at home.

I can't really remember how much this retails for, but I believe it is SGD$12.90-19.90 at our local Wastons Stores.

What other recommendations do you have to heal irritated skin and acne/pimples??
Share them in the comments section below and I'll love to read them!!~

Thanks for reading!!~

  3. Aloe vera is a very helpful plant if anyone wants to maintain their health whether it is internal or external. If you use pure aloe vera gel for acne, you can recover fast than other medicines. I don’t have any problem but still I am using aloe vera gel and I am really happy with the results. My skin is very glowing and clear. I think you should also use aloe vera for your skin related problems.
