Mac Select Moisturecover

Hi everyone!~

I am so sleepy now I hope I don't doze off anytime soon!!~

Just few days ago, I did a post on the Maybelline Pure Mineral Concealer. Click HERE if you missed it!~

I mentioned that it was one of the 2 concealers that I like. And so today, I'm back with another concealer post!~

The 2nd of the 2 concealers that I've been enjoying!~

And I'm in NW25.

PS. my shade is NC30, I thought I would just get a shade lighter~ HAHA!

Product Description,
A luxuriously blendable moisturizing concealer in a tube with built-in doe-foot applicator. Goes on exactly where you want it: blends in for a natural satin-smooth ultra-moistured finish. Layers up for added coverage. Line-softening, skin-perfecting: The Pros' "select" for under-eyes and delicate skin. Wide shade range provides soft, natural camouflage.

Just like the product description mentioned, it comes with a doe-foot applicator, something I really like about this concealers.

I feel instead of sticking my fingers into the product, I felt that this was a more hygienic way to apply my concealer on, and there will be minimal bacteria growth.
That's only what's going on in my mind, it might not be so!~

Again, using the veins on my arms, let's see how this concealer works.

I think I need like 3times more amount to apply it on my eye circles.

But for demonstration/swatch sake, we'll use a little only.

As you can see, you can see still a little of my veins.
the coverage is very buildable.

But as you can see, it is not as obvious and noticeable without the concealer.

My Thoughts,
From my experience,

This concealer is a rather sheer or medium coverage concealer, but you can build it up!~

I like the Maybeline one for it's coverage.
But I like this not only for it's coverage, but also how natural it'll look on my skin.

What I like about this product, As mentioned, this is a sheer coverage product. You can build the product on to totally eliminate the dark circles or blemish you have on your face. Now that I don't really have much problem with those, I don't need to build this up that much.

As mentioned in previous posts, many of them, I do have a little very fine lines around my eye area because they always seem to be lacking in moisture. Many times, concealer that I use will make the lines more noticeable, not in photos, but in real life. The Maybelline one does that when I apply too much too.
But this Mac concealer is not so thick in consistency, it does not cake up on my face when I try to build it up, and it looks really natural when I have it on. It doesn't make those fine lines visible/noticeable in real life.

This concealer does not clog my pores~ and does not make me breakout too!~

What I don't like about this product, it has to be the blending time. If it is something really easy to conceal, like a little redness around your nose, it wouldn't be a hassle. But if you're trying to cover up a scar that is quite noticeable, this takes a little longer than many other concealers to achieve the same effect.

I wouldn't say this is a concealer that last all day. I mean it last on me for the entire day. but when I was doing my friend's makeup to conceal her dark circles, it didn't stay on as long as I was hoping it to be, like around 5-7 hours(?)

PS. my friend has very oily skin.

Would I recommend this? Yes, but only to those looking for a medium coverage concealer and don't have very oily skin.
I understand why this product is not high raved in the beauty world on the internet, but I really like this product, and how it worked on my skin!~

I can't really remember how much this cost, maybe about $25+ to $30??

Share your thoughts with me down in the comments section below!~ I'll love to read them!~
and tell me your favorite /go-to concealers!~
Both of mine are running out soon and I need to purchase some new ones!!~

PS. I'm listening to this on replay so I won't fall asleep!~

Thanks for reading!~

xx, meiyi
