K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Eyeliner

Hi Everyone!

I'm so tired right now!~ I hope I don't doze off while trying to do this post up!~

Let's start on the post before something silly happens while trying to blog again!~

Today's post is about a highly raved eyeliner on the internet.

It's so popular among Asian Beauty Gurus on YouTube I wanted to try it so badly.

It states,
Helps draw incredibly delicate lines and effectively ensures long hold.

PS. I have this eyeliner with me for quite a long time now. So I have no idea where the packaging is, I don't know if someone threw it away or anything, because I don't usually throw out packaging because I like to use it for future reference!~

Product Description,
This long-wearing liquid eyeliner gives guaranteed results in its ability to withstand humid weather and punishing dryness of our air-conditioned interiors. Its water resistant polymer molecule intimately adheres to your skin and the highlighted eyeliner stays on the entire day. Superior fast drying properties allow for immediate use of eyelash curlers.

Its magic lies in its patented ultrafine micro-fiber soft-brush application which ensures that the liquid eyeliner does not drip messily or draw heavily on your eyelids. This provides the ease and freedom of drawing that fine eyeline to the outer corner of your eye. Even beginners can simply draw the ideal natural-looking eyeline.
You need to not compromise on the care for the delicate eye area. The eyeliner is made of a unique conditioning formula consisting of sage essence, pantenol and chamomile essence, and would not irritate even the most sensitive of eyes.
The eyeliner is only available in black. Remove the eyeliner easily with any oil-free makeup remover.

Just like how it is described in on the website (product description above), it has a ultra fine brush applicator.

Out of all the eyeliners I've own in my collection, it is indeed one of the finest one.

And you can draw really thin and delicate lines with it.
Want a thicker line, not a hassle, it glides on and does the job pretty easily.

Rather than saying this eyeliner draws black lines, I would say it is more towards grey than black. It is very natural and you can wear it on a everyday basis without the black harsh line.

If natural grey lines are not what you want, you can layer/build up the colour by going over a few times.
The colour becomes more and more intense as you build it.

My Thoughts,
From my experience

As mentioned, I've seen so much rave about this product. It has been many guru's holy grail, or the term I prefer, a must have.

I wanted to try them for months, but I kept pushing back, because I didn't need something that stays on 24hours!~

But I couldn't resist the temptation of getting it every time I walked into Watsons and got it in the end.

What I like about this product, it draws a very very fine line. Very forgiving when you make mistakes, because it's either hardly noticeable, because if the grey shade, or you can fix is easily because it is so fine.

It dries very quickly! Unlike most of the eyeliner I own, I don't have to wait for any setting/drying time for this. I can just draw in on and curl my lashes.
whereas for the other eyeliners, I have to wait for about a minute or so for the eyeliner to dry before moving on the my lashes.

The staying power for this eyeliner is indeed pretty impressive. I've read online reviews saying that the staying power of this eyeliner is pretty crappy. One of them state that it didn't last on her for more than 2 hours. I didn't experience that. In fact it stayed on all day long until I use a makeup remover to remove it.

What I don't like about this product, I remember reading from the packaging that it is smudge proof, but it SMUDGES! Very badly! I've tried just wearing this eyeliner alone, without eyelid primer. And it smudges! Because I have tapered eyelids, it kind of hided it so I didn't have to feel as embarrassed.

It smudged to a point that it looked like I had light smokey eyes, or what one of my friends mentioned, dark circles/ "panda eyes" on the top lid.

I wouldn't mind if the smudge can be removed easily. But remember me mentioning about it's staying power??
YES!! it always smudges 2-3 hours after application, and by then I'm already out of the house. It will stain my lids and I can't remove it just with water or makeup wipes.

I have to use a proper makeup wipe to remove it.

To show it, I used a makeup wipe to wipe off the swatches of the eyeliner I've shown above,

And this is what it left.

As you might be able to tell, my arms are become a little red due to the rubbing.

But the eyeliner didn't come off totally.

That's what happened when it smudges on my lids.

However, if I use my UDPP, it will not smudge. But I don't think I should give credits to the eyeliner for doing the job, since it was the UDPP that's preventing it from smudging.

Would I recommend it? Honestly, No, although it does things that many eyeliners don't, like the ability to draw very fine lines, dries quickly and stays on for long period of time. A BIG NO NO in eyeliner for me is smudging, I don't really have very oily eyelids to start off with and I rarely experience smudges with eyeliners that already state that it is smudge proof. But this is really a disappointment in that department.

I feel that with the price of this eyeliner, can get about 2 Etude House Oh M'Eye line eyeliners and it works better than this.

It might be because I have tapered eyelids that's why it will smudge, but I still don't understand why people raved about this eyeliner.

PS. I have a friend that has very oily eyelids, she has tried this eyeliner and told me the same thing, it smudges like crazy, leaving "panda eyes".

This retails for SGD$18.90 at our local Watsons stores.

Anyone has a different opinion on this eyeliner, or am I using it wrongly?
Leave them in the comments section below!~(: I'd love to read them!

Thanks for reading!~

xx, meiyi
