I have been sharing the same thing over and over again so I thought I should share here.
Like everyone else, I don't have tangle-free hair, and I dye my hair often too. So to keep my hair tangle-free ,let alone soft, I have to pay extra attention to it.
Other than shampoo, conditioner and mask, I'll always use a leave-in hair lotion/oil/serum after bath to further moisturize my hair.
I guess my friends are asking for a way where they can be lazy yet have great hair, but I don't have an answer for that. I'm always telling them, there's no shortcut to this, it is just consistent "hard work".
To be honest, I don't even think this as a chore, because combing tangle-y hair is much more of a chore than having serum to soften the hair.
Today I want to share with the one of the two leave-in hair product I love using.
Product Description
Protects hair from the harmful effects of heat-styling tools. Nourishes, softens and moisturizes hair. Gives hair optimal shine from roots to ends. Improves hair straightening and drying performance.
I'd be lying if I told you I blow dry my hair everyday.
As much as I want to, I don't. I don't like blow drying my hair, I find blow-dried hair feels dry and crispy. So I like to let my hair dry naturally.
I got this product even though it was suppose to be a heat protectant. I have friends asking, since I don't apply any heat on my hair why do I still want to apply a heat protectant. It is simply because this product nourishes, softens and moisturizes my hair.
And for those who are wondering, it does!
This is not a very clear photo, but the back of the product is an instruction on how to use it in many different languages.
It is a squeeze tube so you have to gently squeeze and product will come out
What I like to do is to get a little product,
about this much, and applying it, concentrating, on the ends of my hair and moving upwards to the hair below my ears. This is because most of the tangles occur around that area of the hair.
And for the left over product on my hands, hardly any left, I'll just apply it on the rest of my hair, avoiding the roots.(so that you won't have oily scalp)
And I'll leave my hair to air dry.
Sometimes when I have to let my hair dry quicker, I'll just sit in front of the fan to blow my hair dry.
What I like about this product, I like that it is light, yet keeps my hair moisturize all day long, I recently went for a camp and forgot to bring this along. Although my hair was a little tangled up after shower, because I have been using this product consistently and my hair condition has improved, my hair was much easier to comb than way before when I never paid any attention on my hair.
I have tried some leave-in hair products that will cause acne breakout on your jawlines. I'm not sure if I have sensitive skin, but still product will not cause any breakout.
This product is a lotion, it is lightweight and will not weight your hair down. It is best to apply it when your hair is damp, as it helps to retain as much moisture as they can.
I guess since it is a heat protectant, it keeps your hair protected from the sun rays too. I do realize that my hair colour takes longer to fade into a lighter shade while using this product.
What I don't like about this product, .....Hmmm.. There actually isn't any complain I have about this product. unless the cost of it is one of the factor.
This product is rather costly, So I wouldn't recommend you get to get this if you are on a tight budget.
But if you do have some extra cash to spare and want to pamper your hair, I'll strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to try this.
This retails at many salons, but I'm not too sure about the price.
I got mine at a beauty supply store for SGD$36-$37
Share your favourite hair care product with me too! I'll love to check them out!(:
xx, meiyi
